penang and conclusion..

finally after that 10 hrs journey on the road, we arrived penang at 730pm.

but we got lost while trying to find this g hotel. dok pusing2, tang tu jugak. last2 called the hotel and a nice chap from concierge counter guided us there. thank you zan.

g hotel is located at persiaran gurney and adjacent to gurney plaza. i love its lobby design - very modern and comtemporary.

since most of the rooms at standard floor were fully booked, we checked in at its executive floor. the room interior is very stylish. i must say most of the furniture comes from designer collection. nasib baik kereta tak muat, kalau tak lampu yg merah tu i dah bawak balik dah...

after checked in, we walked to the nearest gurney hawker enclave, where i had good taste of penang char kway teow, satay and pasembor. best!!!

those who stays on executive floor has the access to its executive lounge at 15th floor, where you can just sit, watch tv or read and dine at the same time, any time you like at no charges. on the next morning, PIL and BIL went down for breakfast while me and my family had our nice and relaxing breakfast at their executive lounge.

after breakfast, kids went into the pool, as usual...

ni tempat bersantai tepi pool. very relaxing...

dan lagi... tapi time2 panas gini takde la nak duduk kat sini kan.. ada la few caucasian sunbathing kat tepi2 tu.

from the pool, the guys went into jacuzzi tub. the ladies tgh red flag so melepas la nak merasa this massaging water. besarkannn...

after the pool, its time for us to pack. dear hubby wanted to stay another night but since i'm working on monday, we had to say goodbye. PIL and BIL stayed 1 more night there. before going home, we went to gurney plaza, the kids bought their choices of remote controls cars. we had nasi kandar for lunch along the gurney drive. at 530pm, we left penang for shah alam. dear hubby tetiba dpt flu pulak so halfway driving, dia rasa pening. i drove till mana tah , then dear hubby took over after good rest. we reached shah alam ard 1130pm. highway mmg jam, slow moving at certain parts especially near the r&r areas.

thats it. from subang to pahang to trengganu to kelantan and penang, the last destination. so far, i must say this is the most huru hara vacation ever. the journey was almost 1000km and we were on the road for hours. stayed from 1 hotel to another hotels for 1 night only and we didnt even had a chance to go sightseeing, shopping whatever... sapa punyer idea vacation mcm ni.. hmm i je la yg i tau..

although it was not a rest & relax kind of vacation, i'm glad to be able to spend this chaotic journey with my loved ones... tapi mmg serik la nak gi belah timur ni. next time nak pergi jugak, nak flight je ye....
