early this year adam chose Tunas Kadet Remaja (TKR) as his co-curriculum uniform units and i am yet to buy his uniform as the activities will only start in april. last night after adam finished mengaji at my neighbour's house, he came into my room and told me about the school's camping program in Pahang, which is part of co-curriculum activities for all uniform units. he expressed his interest, which i am happy to hear, but was taken aback when he said he has already registered himself to participate in the program. hmmm... eagerness without approval can be risky sometimes especially to his dad. as a mum, of course seeing his enthusiasm, i would considerately approve but at the end, final approval will come from his abah. now waiting for the school to provide the parents a formal letter and decision will be known later.
what interest me was adam raised the money matters for this camping program, which i assume he would think the mum will say yes...
adam: mama, camping ni kena bayar tapi tak la banyak...
mama: really... how much??..
adam: seringgit je!...
mama: (biar betul??!!) eh betul ke ni? ok takpe. we wait for the letter from school ok...
adam: ok. hopeful abah kata ok. adam nak sangat pergi mama..
mama: ok ok.. mama discuss dengan abah dulu..
i'm contemplating... should i let my 10 years old boy go camping in Pahang with the school.. will the school allow parents to tag along??.. why cant they just camp at the school??...
