stila cosmetics workshop...

i am so not a fashionista but... i was one of the lucky fashionistas (well, that's what they called those who get this invitation ya..) to receive an exclusive invitation to stila cosmetics workshop @ W3, subang parade last saturday. it started around 1030am till 1pm. we were guided with very interesting step-by-step makeup tips by stila beautician. after showing us the techniques on how to be beautiful in just 20 mins, we get a chance to beautify ourselves with stila make up products.

here is where i sat with all the stila goodies to try on, of course with a guide from one of the beautician, fahmi - based at stila counter Parkson, KL Pavilion. as for the door gift, we get a complimentary makeover voucher with stila makeup artist and little.black.book voucher - yang pink tu...

it was my 1st time using stila product and i find it easy to apply. what i like most is stila eye colour - a magical 3-in-1 pen which includes eye pencil, eye shadow and smudging tool. there's also multi-tasking colour, which can be applied on cheek and lip. very cost effective, aint it?!!

at the end of the workshop, refreshments were served. i bought stila voucher worth of RM120 - fully redeemable at my next pit stop at their counter and on top of that, i get free stila liquid lip polish. best kan... i had fun...

hamster new ride...

rhino, the hamster that runs around in a plastic ball really catch our eyes when we saw it in BOLT. it definitely reminds us our rico.

and dear hubby get so excited, he bought one for rico. here's rico in his new ride, went all over the house...

i got up in the morning and got ready for work. that morning also i sent my PIL to UH for their monthly check-up. nice weather but rather odd seeing less cars on the road. traffic at federal highway towards pj was smooth. when i reached UH, the entrance was congested so they asked me to drop them near the small gate at the bus stop. after making U turn, i drove straight to my office. as i was turning to the office, the area seems very quiet, shops all closed. pelik.. kenapa kedai sume tutup nih?

i parked at my usual parking lot and dialled a number...
me: hi reen... busy? you kat office ke?
reen: kat office? hari ni Selangor public holiday la..
me: ye ke? cuti apa ek?
reen: Sultan Selangor's birthday..
me: really!!! i tak tau pun. ni i dah sampai my office. patut la senyap sunyi je area my office nih..
reen: lol... u nikan very dedicated employee la... tapi tak kena time gitu. org cuti, you keje..
me: tu la.. ni la kesnye bila tak tengok kalendar kan..bazir je i bangun pepagi nih..

yesterday was a public holiday in Selangor but being me, i went to work duh!!. sungguh tak peka okay. i went into the office, packed my laptop and went home. first thing i'm going to do when i get the 2009 calendar is to jot down all public/states holidays on it. i'm not going to miss any holidays no more.. :D

bleeding...

on the morning of last thursday, we took the kids to clinic to remove the clamp . eventhough the clamp was removed but the tube was still attached. the doctor said it will fall off within 2 - 3 days but knowing the kids, it fell off the same day. so i thought everything seems to be fine. but the next day, half hour after i reached my office, adam called saying adli was bleeding. i was panic. called dear hubby, who then called his brother and adli was rushed to the clinic where he was circumcised. according to the doctor, small part of the skin got torn, most probably due to stiffness. we were also told that bleeding can cause one to blackout. alhamdulillah my BIL was around to assist us.

orang tua kata nyawa lelaki kat situ.. so kena la jaga baik2 ye. (i baru tau...)

circumcision...

alhamdulillah... adam and adli circumcision went well last friday @ 12 noon at Klinik Permata. it was done through smartklamp, which took about 20 mins on each of them. dear hubby was with them throughout the procedure as i dare not watching it. tak sangguppp!!!

adam went in 1st while adli sat with me. behind the wall, i could hear adam's little groaning voice at the time when the doctor was anaesthetised the part. suddenly adli said.. mama jom duduk kat sana. adli tak nak dengar la.. jom! mama pun tak nak.. at the time adli was in the room, i hear very little of his voice. later when he came out, the doctor said adli was a little relaxed than adam.

we had 'doa selamat' at my SIL's place, then went home later that night. we took turn looking after them so dear hubby taught me how to clean the 'area' while he's at work. nak tak nak.. kena la jugak buat kannn...

3rd day went shopping...

what's good about smartklamp is that one can do their usual activities right after but i advise them to rest till they are ready to get up and run... so by the 3rd day, they told me they're ready to wear pants. ok!! let's go to the curve..

this coming thursday, they'll be meeting the doctor again to remove the klamp. hopeful all goes well..
