just like his mum. he started wearing spectacles last year when he complained he could not see words on the white board at school. as a concerned mother, i brought him for eye check-up and the result - his power for the specs was -1.75 for right eye and -1.25 for left eye. it's quite high for his age. so i bought him a pair at a student rate which cost me RM150. i reminded him to take a really good care of it and he said he wanted to wear it for distance reading and watching tv only. because of that reasons, he left it under his school table when he was not reading and forgot to bring it home. the specs is not even a year old and it's gone.
of course it is understandable that school children will often loss their things at school especially the stationeries but losing the other eye sight is a little costly. if i dont replace it, he will miss what's on the white board. if i do replace it, will he be losing it again? what guarantee do i have. maybe i should just insured it eh... :D
calling all optical stores with good discounts... here i come!!
