Nickelodeon Day of Play

last saturday, the kids and i went to cyberjaya, together with tini and her kids for nicksplat let's just play event. it was very sunny hot day but kids had fun anyway, played the games, collecting the goodies, watched the shows etc. then we had lunch at padi house, prima avenue, cyberjaya. i was really hungry i forgot to snap the place. very nice and cozy place to dine, the serving was quite big and very tasteful.

at night, we went to sunway pyramid, planning to watch a movie, either hulk or get smart or wanted... but all were full and end up watching "run fat boy run". whatever!! hubby and kids found it hilarious, while i was in tears at the end of the movie. as usual la.. citer sedih sikit je tapi me being emotional kannn... :D

server down...

this morning i was feeling ok. come to lunch hour, the feeling become ko. it has been almost 4 hours the server in USA is DOWN. and this really tense me totally. i cant connect to the VPN, which means i cant check important emails, and that slowing down my delectation to work, cant complete my task on time, and weekend is tomorrow, and i do not want to bring back the work @ laptop with me coz i dont want to do work on the weekend.

so pleaseeeeeeeeeeee fix that damn server ok!!!

who likes nice green colour?? who likes burger?? and who likes to eat burger and watch euro 2008?? you do!!.. if you wanna know what i'm talking about, hit this. ni kira nak promote la skit restaurant baru ni.

when u feel like eating something different, take a drive to desa sri hartamas and try out their burgers at darabif restaurant - it's the one and only at the moment. they produce their own burger patties and 100% halal. i've tried the chick, the moo, the salmon and the lamb burger, while watching the euro 2008.. i think it was italy vs russia. the burgers are simply the best... so apa lagi. pi la singgah naaa..

Hari Terbuka SK Sect. 9

today is adam's and adli's "hari terbuka" at their school, where the parents will meet teachers to sign report card and to discuss issues that need attention.

i met adam's teacher first. nasib baik tak ramai parents lagi. cikgu kelas dia cikgu lelaki so tak banyak sgt citer. straight to the point je.. citer pasal gred adam, mostly ada peningkatan. ok good. tiba part rekod pelajar, adam ada 17 kesalahan... tak bawak buku and tak siap homework. alamak adam... when i asked you, you said no homework. when i checked your books, all looks fine to me.. unless you forgot to tell me la. when i checked your timetable, you said the books are left the school's cabinet. so i advise the teacher, should this happen again, the school need to call me asap. ok noted!..

lepas tu, jumpa cikgu adli pulak. time ni mmg dah ramai. berpeluh la menunggu. result adli sangat memberangsangkan. peningkatan yang bagus. mak dia happy :D... rekod pelajar pun sgt menggembirakan sbb takde kesalahan. hanya i tanya kat cikgu if adli ni nakal ke dlm kelas... suka kacau kawan2 dia ke.. sbb ada la this mother complain yg adli buli anak dia. cikgu dia terperanjat gak sbb katanya adli ok je.. hanya dia suka berkata-kata, ada je cerita or nak ditanya. kira talkative la nih. to me the word buli is so inappropriate for any kids especially at the age of 9. they are just kids. there was no physical act whatsoever, so how can you say buli kan?! orally maybe la but kids didnt mean what they said. maybe it's just teasing. when a kid become sensitive, mula la kes complain ni. yang i tak boleh terima tu bila the mother kata adli ni nakal, berkawan dgn budak yg nakal jugak kat dlm kelas tu. i know who he be friended to and his friends are ok. anyway, cut the story short, adli was confronted by his abah and me la. whether he did wrong or not, i've asked him to say sorry to the friend. ok.. case closed! tapi tadi, bila i jumpa the mother, in front of other parents, dia boleh tanya "adli naughty lagi tak? aunty rasa tak kan..." suka-suka je panggil anak i naughty.. anyway, i malas nak layan kan.. i blah..

today, i'm happy with my kids' performance in their studies. well done adam and adli.. please study smart for your next exams ok... benda lain tak penting!!!...

pangkor island...

pangkor island was the destination for our 11th anniversary. abt 4 hours drive from shah alam to lumut, through sabak bernam/k.selangor/teluk intan route. no toll at all except for shapadu toll heading to meru. we didnt tell the kids where we're going to.. it was a surprised for them. when we reached lumut, they were all excited as it was their 1st trip to pangkor. i've been there few times when i was studying in itm manjung 15 years ago. so this trip is part of 'kenangan terindah' with my loved ones.

at lumut jetty, we took mesra ferry with return fare at rm10 per adult and rm5 per child. at pangkor jetty, we took pangkor cab aka pink colour van, cost us rm12 from the jetty to teluk nipah. we checked in at ombak inn chalet for 1 night only. the 4 of us were more like backpackers so the chalet we stayed was just nice and comfort to sleep, a room with air-cond, attached bathroom, astro (it was a centralised, so there was no remote and we had to watch whatever program the reception area watched) and cosy balcony. right after checked in, we went out for lunch at one of the stall along teluk nipah beach. from the beach we could see the nearby pulau giam, where people would go on a speed boat for a swim in crystal clear water or snorkelling. we chose to snorkel and rent the snorkel gears plus the return speed boat at rm50. when we reached there, the shallow part was clean and clear but as we went further, the water was a little murky but we can still see the fish. since it was the kids' 1st time to snorkel, we gave them a quick lesson on the snorkelling gears. it was challenging for them but they are fast learner and we had a great 2-hour snorkelling. after 2 hours in the water, CD the guy with the speed boat came for us. before heading back to teluk nipah beach, he took us for a round trip at pulau giam, where he showed us a rock that has 2 shapes that look like a head of a crocodile and a turtle. it was awesome. after shower, we went strolling along the beach for the sunset. it was beautiful and pleasing to watch the sunset over the sea. i just stand there loving every minute of it. after that emotional feeling of capturing the sunset, we had 2 big delicious ikan bakar for dinner. simply the best!!! and i also bought the satay fish and variety of dried sotong. my favourite!!

the next day, we checked out early around 10am. after breakfast, we hired a cab for a round trip of the island - cost us rm60. the taxi driver took us to a temple, where there is a miniature great wall of china and the dutch fort. after that, we took the afternoon ferry back to mainland. at lumut, strolled at the waterfront for a while before heading back home. well, we didnt exactly go home. the kids wanted to watch 'kung fu panda', so we went to OU. after that, we went straight to nilai, BIL's house, stayed 1 night and the next morning after breakfast, we went to bagan lalang beach at sepang. since it was low tide the time we arrive, hubby and the kids built sand whatever while i relaxing on a mat under the tree...fell asleep... i cant help it.. the fresh sea breeze and nice weather... we had dinner there with more ikan bakar and kerang rebus... seafood everywhere!!!

it was a thrill and fun experience for the kids and for us too. they enjoyed as much as we enjoyed having them on our anniversary getaway. it was a pleasant beach trip with the kids, so i'm planning for another beach trip to another island.. hmmm.. pulau mana ek??!!

Petrol price up...

right after the night the prime news announced of petrol price up on 4th June, i grabbed my car key and rushed to the nearest petrol station, which supposely to be less than 3 mins drive and i was in queue for about 500m to the station, but end up reaching there 3 & HALF HOURS later...

it was a dreadful night for me.

11th wedding anniversary...

at a beach, on an island...

sunday night with noryn aziz

last sunday we went to planet hollywood for noryn's show. although her show starts at 1030pm, we came early for dinner. the show was was splendid. she sang soulful to the R&B and jazz, mostly to english songs and few songs from her current and upcoming album. although i'm not really into jazz but her voice was undeniable fantastic...

i saw few celebrities came for the show.. atilia (she sang with noryn before the show ends) betty benafe, diddy, shah rezza and few others i cant remember. sorry no photos of them...

it was a good show. we enjoyed the moments, the dinner and the show...

picnic...

last saturday was our 2nd trip to this waterfall/sungai but i still dont know the name of it. it is located at the left runsite of Genting Highlands route from Rawang that passes through Sg Choh, Serendah and Batang Kali going to Ulu Yam Bharu.

this time, shadiah brought marinated ikan pari, ikan kembong and ikan siakap. hubby grilled them on banana leaf over charcoal fire to very tasty and even tastier with shadiah's home-made sauces.

as usual, the kids had a real good time splashing in the water. i pulak as usual timing tak betul.. red flag!! tension je so tengok je la gambar2 ni....
